This fun and hands-on session focuses on essential bushcraft fire lighting knowledge and skills. Participants will learn about different fire starting methods, the types of materials needed, fire safety, and practical fire-building techniques. By the end of the session, attendees will be proficient in various fire lighting techniques and understand the importance of fire in bushcraft.

- Fire Safety and Precautions: Learn essential safety measures and proper techniques to safely build and manage fires. 
- Fire Lighting Methods: Explore various fire-starting techniques, including primitive methods like bow drills and modern tools like firesteels. 
- Tinder, Kindling, and Fuel Preparation: Understand how to source and prepare different materials for successful fire starting. 
- Fire Lay Configurations: Practise setting up different types of fire lays for various conditions. 
- Hands-On Practice: Gain confidence through guided, hands-on practice with personalised feedback from the instructor.

- Under 18s must be accompanied by a paying adult.

- Appropriate clothing and footwear. We’ll be outdoors, in our woodland, and we can’t control the weather!
