Instructors & Partnerships
Woodland Roots collaborates with skilled, self-employed outdoor instructors and local partners to deliver high-quality bushcraft, outdoor learning, and accredited training. As our seasonal delivery and group sessions expand across Oswestry and surrounding areas, we are always keen to hear from dependable professionals who share our calm, practical, and safety-focused approach.
Freelance Outdoor & Bushcraft Instructors
We regularly recruit freelance instructors for seasonal, part-time, and casual work. Delivery includes half-day and full-day bushcraft sessions, youth group days, corporate events, target archery, and support for outdoor training courses.

Instructor Requirements:
Relevant NGB or equivalent Bushcraft / Outdoor Instructor qualifications
Valid Outdoor First Aid certification
Enhanced DBS check (registered on the Update Service)
Desirable: Level 2 Food Safety, experience with youth/school delivery, or outdoor first aid instructional awards
Collaboration & Venue Partnerships
We work alongside schools, local venues, community organisations, and outdoor providers to deliver bespoke joint projects.
Partnership Opportunities:
Co-Delivered Programmes: Jointly run events, outdoor badges, or community workshops.
Venue Partnerships: Bringing our mobile archery, firecraft, or Mini Medics setups to your site or facility.
Bespoke Group Training: Custom outdoor skills or first aid delivery tailored to your team or organisation.
