Return & Refund Policy

At Woodland Roots Ltd, we want you to be happy with your purchase. This policy outlines how we handle returns, exchanges, and refunds for physical products and physical gift vouchers purchased directly through our website or authorised sales channels.

This policy does not cover bookings or course attendance — please refer to our Booking Terms and Conditions for course cancellation and rescheduling information.

1. Physical Products

1.1 Returns Eligibility

You may return a physical product within 28 days of receiving it, provided that:

* It is unused, unopened, and in its original packaging.

* It includes all original components, labels, and documentation.

* Proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt) is provided.

We cannot accept returns for:

* Personalised, customised, or made-to-order items.

* Perishable or consumable goods (e.g., natural materials or items with a limited shelf life).

* Products damaged through misuse, neglect, or normal wear and tear.

1.2 How to Return an Item

To initiate a return, please email hello@woodlandroots.co.uk with:

* Your name and contact details

* Order number or proof of purchase

* Details of the item(s) you wish to return and reason for return

We will confirm the return process and provide a postal return address.
You are responsible for return postage costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

1.3 Faulty or Incorrect Items

If you receive a faulty, damaged, or incorrect item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.
We may request photos or further details to assess the issue.

Depending on the situation, we will offer:

* A replacement (where stock is available)

* An exchange for another item of equal value

* A full refund, including original delivery costs (if applicable)

We will cover return postage for items confirmed as faulty or sent in error.

1.4 Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 7–10 business days.
Delivery charges are non-refundable except in cases of faulty or incorrect items.

2. Physical Gift Vouchers

2.1 Non-Returnable and Non-Refundable

All physical gift voucher sales are final.
Gift vouchers cannot be:

* Refunded (in part or full)

* Exchanged for cash

* Replaced if lost, stolen, or expired

2.2 Defective or Lost Vouchers

If a physical gift voucher arrives damaged or defective, please contact hello@woodlandroots.co.uk within 7 days of receipt.
At our discretion, a replacement voucher may be issued once proof of purchase is provided.

2.3 Expired Vouchers

Physical gift vouchers must be redeemed within their stated validity period.
Expired vouchers cannot be reactivated or extended, except in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of Woodland Roots Ltd.

3. Exchanges

We may offer an exchange instead of a refund where appropriate (e.g., for a different product of equal value).
Exchanges are subject to product availability and approval by Woodland Roots Ltd.

4. Returns Address

Returns should only be sent after contacting us for authorisation.
Authorised returns can be posted to the address provided in our response email.
Please ensure all returns are securely packaged, as Woodland Roots Ltd cannot accept responsibility for items lost or damaged in transit.
