1. Introduction
We aim to make delivery simple, transparent, and reliable.
These delivery terms outline our delivery options, costs, dispatch times, and how we handle orders to remote or rural locations.
All orders are packed and dispatched from our base in Oswestry, Shropshire. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email with delivery details.
2. Delivery Options
2.1 Free UK Delivery
We offer free standard UK delivery on orders over £60.
Some individual products may also include free delivery, which will be clearly stated on the product page.
Free delivery orders are typically sent via Royal Mail Second Class, unless otherwise stated.
2.2 Royal Mail Delivery Options
For orders under £60, or where an alternative option is preferred, you can select from the following at checkout:
Royal Mail Second Class – £3.99
Estimated delivery time: 2–4 working days after dispatchRoyal Mail First Class – £4.99
Estimated delivery time: 1–2 working days after dispatch
Delivery times are estimates provided by Royal Mail and may vary due to service demand, weather conditions, or other factors outside our control.
3. Dispatch Times
We aim to dispatch all in-stock items within 2 working days of receiving your order
Orders placed on weekends or bank holidays will be processed on the next working day
If an item is made to order or requires additional processing time, this will be clearly stated on the product page before purchase.
4. Remote and Rural Deliveries
Royal Mail delivers to most UK addresses. However, delivery to some remote or rural areas (including parts of the Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, and offshore islands) may take an additional 1–3 working days.
If delivery to your address requires an alternative courier or is not possible using the selected method, we will contact you before dispatch to discuss available options.
Please ensure your delivery address is accurate and complete to avoid delays.
5. Delivery Restrictions
We currently deliver to UK addresses only
International delivery is not available at this time
We are unable to deliver to PO boxes or BFPO addresses
6. Missed Deliveries
If delivery is attempted and no one is available, Royal Mail will usually leave a card with instructions for redelivery or collection.
If a parcel is not collected and is returned to us, additional postage charges may apply to resend the order.
7. Lost or Delayed Deliveries
If your order has not arrived within the expected timeframe:

If the parcel cannot be located, contact us at hello@woodlandroots.co.uk with your order number
We will work with Royal Mail to investigate. Orders are not considered lost until 10 working days after the expected delivery date, in line with Royal Mail policy.
8. Packaging
We use eco-conscious or recyclable packaging wherever possible. All items are securely packaged to help ensure they arrive safely and in good condition.
