We aim to make delivery simple, transparent, and reliable.
Below you’ll find details of our delivery options, costs, timescales, and how we handle orders to remote areas.
All orders are packed and dispatched from our base in Oswestry, Shropshire.
Once dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email with delivery details.
Delivery Options
1. Free Delivery
Some products include free standard delivery within the UK.
This will be clearly stated on the product page.
Free delivery orders are typically sent via Royal Mail Second Class, unless otherwise noted.
2. Royal Mail Delivery Options
You can choose from the following at checkout:
Royal Mail Second Class - £3.99
Estimated delivery time: 2–4 working days after dispatch
Royal Mail First Class - £4.99
Estimated delivery time: 1–2 working days after dispatch
Delivery times are estimates provided by Royal Mail and may vary, particularly during busy periods or in adverse weather conditions.
3. Dispatch Times
We aim to dispatch all in-stock items within 2 working days of receiving your order.
 Orders placed on weekends or bank holidays will be processed on the next working day.
If your item is made to order, this will be clearly stated on the product page, and dispatch times may vary.
Remote and Rural Delivery
Royal Mail delivers to most UK addresses, but some remote or rural areas (including parts of the Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, and certain offshore islands) may take an additional 1–3 working days to arrive.
If Royal Mail cannot deliver to your area or requires an alternative courier, we will contact you before dispatch to confirm options.
Please ensure your delivery address is accurate and complete to avoid delays.
Delivery Restrictions
We currently deliver to UK addresses only.
We are unable to ship internationally at this time.
We do not deliver to PO boxes or BFPO addresses.
Missed Deliveries
If you are not available when delivery is attempted, Royal Mail will usually leave a card with instructions for redelivery or collection.
Uncollected parcels may be returned to us after a set period. If this happens, we may need to charge additional postage to resend your order.
Lost or Delayed Deliveries
If your order hasn’t arrived within the expected timeframe:
- Please first check with your local Royal Mail delivery office. 
- If the parcel cannot be located, contact us at hello@woodlandroots.co.uk with your order number. 
We’ll work with Royal Mail to investigate.
Orders are not considered lost until 10 working days after the expected delivery date (as per Royal Mail policy).
Packaging
We use eco-conscious or recyclable packaging wherever possible.
Items are securely packaged to ensure safe delivery.
