Team-Building in the Woods
Strengthen communication, trust and problem-solving together in our private woodland on the Llanforda Estate.
Step away from the office and into a calm woodland setting where teams can slow down, reconnect, and work together with intention.
Our sessions encourage collaboration and reflection through practical outdoor challenges.
What Happens
Your session begins with a welcome at our private woodland base, where instructors introduce the day and set expectations.
Activities are introduced gradually and adjusted to suit the group’s energy and confidence. Teams work together on practical challenges that encourage discussion, decision-making, and cooperation.
Time is built in for reflection and informal conversation, allowing teams to take meaning from the experience rather than rushing through tasks.
Depending on conditions, you might:
Complete an arrival/navigation challenge
Light a fire using natural materials
Boil water using a firesteel
Build a simple weather-resistant tarp shelter
Take part in a collaborative woodland challenge
Gather around the fire for a guided reflection
Sessions may occasionally vary to make the most of woodland conditions.

Do participants need outdoor experience?
No previous experience is required. Sessions are designed to be supportive, with activities introduced progressively.
Do sessions run in all weather?
Sessions run in most weather conditions, as being outdoors is part of the experience. In the event of extreme weather where safety would be compromised, we’ll contact you in advance to discuss options.
What should we wear?
Please wear weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy footwear suitable for uneven ground. We recommend layers, waterproofs, and clothing that can get a little muddy.
How do you manage safety?
Safety is central to everything we do. All sessions are risk assessed, led by experienced instructors, and delivered with clear boundaries and guidance. Activities are adapted to suit the group, conditions, and environment.
Who leads the sessions?
Sessions are led by qualified bushcraft instructors with experience working with adult groups. Instructor-to-participant ratios are kept appropriate to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
Can sessions be tailored to our goals?
Yes. Sessions are shaped around your team, whether you’re focusing on communication, collaboration, or simply time outdoors together.
