Share an overnight bushcraft adventure in our private woodland on the Llanforda Estate.

View dates and book

A shared overnight woodland experience focused on simple living, practical skills, and time outdoors.

Cook and Camp is about slowing down, learning together, and enjoying the rhythm of an evening and morning in the woods.

What Happens

We meet in the afternoon and walk into the woodland together. After setting up camp, the group prepares and cooks an evening meal over the fire.

As the evening settles, instructors guide fire management, camp routines, and nighttime considerations.

The morning includes breakfast, packing down camp, and a final session before heading home.

Across the afternoon and evening you’ll:

  • Learn safe tool use and carve simple items for camp

  • Set up tarps for your overnight shelter

  • Gather and prepare fuel for the fire

  • Light and tend a controlled campfire

  • Prepare and cook a hearty evening meal over the flames

  • Enjoy a calm evening around the fire before turning in for the night

You’ll sleep under tarps in the woodland, with instructors close by. In the morning we light the fire again for breakfast, then learn how to leave the camp area tidy and pack down before walking back out mid-morning.

Sessions may occasionally vary to make the most of woodland conditions.
