What to Bring & What to Wear
Clothing: Dress for the weather in comfortable outdoor clothing. Flat, closed-toe shoes (boots or trainers) are mandatory for shooting line safety—no sandals or flip-flops permitted.
Avoid: Loose, baggy clothing, long dangling scarves, or bulky jackets that might snag the bowstring. Long hair should be tied back.
Extras: A refillable water bottle.

Who can join an Archery Have a Go session?
Anyone aged 8 and up! These sessions are designed specifically for complete beginners, families, and individuals looking to try target archery for the first time.
Do children need to be accompanied by an adult?
Yes. Participants must be aged 8 or older, and anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian on site for the duration of the session. Accompanying adults are welcome to book a target spot to shoot alongside them, or watch for free from our spectator area.
Where are the archery sessions held?
Archery sessions on our range at Treflach Farm, Oswestry. The venue features free on-site parking, toilet facilities, and spectator viewing space right outside the shooting line. Detailed directions and arrival instructions are emailed automatically as soon as you book.
Do I need to bring my own equipment?
No, we supply all necessary equipment, including fitted recurve bows, arrows, arm guards, and range safety gear.
What happens if it rains?
Target archery is an outdoor activity, and sessions run in most weather conditions. Please dress appropriately for the day's weather. If severe weather (e.g., extreme wind or thunder) forces a cancellation, we will contact you to reschedule or issue a refund.
Can I spectate without paying?
Yes! Spectators are welcome to watch safely from outside the shooting line free of charge.
