SESSION OVERVIEW
Our School Holiday Outdoor Clubs are designed to keep young people active, engaged, and learning real-world outdoor skills in a safe, supportive environment during the school breaks.
Depending on the scheduled week, our sessions take place across our private sites in Oswestry—including our private woodland camp on the Llanforda Estate and our outdoor base at Treflach Farm. Every holiday club week balances hands-on practical learning, team challenges, and active outdoor games. Guided step-by-step by qualified instructors, young people build independence, practical confidence, and lasting friendships in nature.

What to Bring
Clothing: Sturdy, closed-toe footwear (boots or old trainers), comfortable outdoor trousers, warm layers (even in summer), and a waterproof jacket and trousers if rain is forecast.
Essentials: A refillable water bottle labeled with your child's name.
What NOT to Bring: Packed lunches or snacks (unless specific dietary requirements have been agreed upon in advance), electronic devices, or personal knives/tools.
A complete kit list and access map are emailed 4 weeks prior to each club start date.

How do I let you know about dietary requirements or medical conditions?
Approximately 4 weeks before your chosen club week, you will receive an email link to our digital pre-arrival form. Here, you can submit dietary needs, allergies, medical details, and emergency contact information so we can tailor campfire meals and care accordingly.
How do I know which venue my child's session is at?
The venue location and specific dates will be detailed on this page and on your booking confirmation email. Llanforda Estate hosts our bushcraft courses in our private woodland, while Treflach Farm serves as our activity base for multi-activity outdoor sessions. Exact directions and drop-off instructions are emailed 4 weeks prior to the session.
What ages are eligible for the Holiday Clubs?
Our holiday clubs are suitable for young people aged 8 to 16. Activities are adapted so both younger first-timers and older returning adventurers are challenged at their own skill level.
Is this a drop-off session?
Yes! Parents drop off at 9:00 AM and pick up at 5:30 PM. Children are supervised throughout the entire day by our qualified, DBS-checked staff.
Do young people need to bring food or packed lunches?
No! We provide a hot campfire lunch, drinks, and snacks every day. All dietary needs submitted via your pre-arrival form (~4 weeks prior) will be catered for.
Can children attend individual days, or do they have to book the whole week?
You can book single days to suit your schedule, or book the full week pass for a discounted rate and the complete progressive experience.
What happens if it rains?
We operate in almost all weather! Being outdoors under shelter and running active outdoor games in the rain is all part of the fun. In the rare event of extreme, unsafe conditions (such as high gales), we will contact you to arrange alternative options or refunds.
